About the blog and current work

Thanks

Really just to say thanks to all the people that make the blog what it is.
Many thanks to my Economics teachers, Mr Lord who I have pestered now for 4 years and who showed me wonders of economics and encouraged me always (nearly always). To Mr Hill for the many debates, vibrant and passionate teaching (if not a bit left wing) and of course for the free 5 minute politics lessons after each lesson. Clearly i could not write this blog without the knowledge and passion taught to me by these tutors.
Not forgetting Miss Ismail of whom I have never been had the privilege of being taught by but who has always been helpful and encouraged me.
Then of course to all the Hutton Grammar Economics Societythe help, the laughs, the discussions and the inspiration. Especially to Karsten, my economics sparing partner, now in Denmark.
To add to this some what Hollywood and far too soppy list I should thank my friends, particularly Hoddie and Andy for joining my rantings and to my girl friend Aimee-Jai for putting up with them.
Finally I should mention my background.. coming from household of two (probably slightly left wing) civil servants but with grandparents firmly right wing and various extended family members not afraid to be (rightly) opinionated andoutspoken. I am open to many ideas but strong in my own judgements.
